The Child and his Tree

Out of respect and love for nature, every person should plant and care for a tree. If each of us did this, we would certainly be better, more attentive to the nature around us. The '' The Child and His Tree'' project is primarily aimed at children, hoping that through their act of planting and caring for a tree, they will understand more quickly and thoroughly the necessity of taking care of the environment in which we live. Planting one or more trees often means teamwork, and this is increasingly important in children's education today.

The project is a graphic one, in the sense that the participating children will first take a photo of the moment the tree is planted, then take a new photo each year on a specific day that is important to both them and the tree (the moment it buds, the moment it blooms, when it is full of fruit, or when the leaves turn rusty). These photos, no matter how many, will be collected on our project's page on the ''SOS Education - Foundation for a Better Future'' website, for each participant. In this way, we can see how this pair grows, and our project becomes a personal project for each participant.

We would like as many children as possible to participate in this project, but we especially encourage and support children under 12 years old, so that by the time they reach adulthood, the tree will be in full strength.
